it’s been a year

since i came home from probably what will remain as one of the most memorable and valuable experiences of my life: the short 4 months i spent in washington DC.   it seriously feels like yesterday that i was on the flight to DC, nervous and getting a bit teary eyed at the thought of being across the country away from my parents.  i can’t believe it’s been a year.  that senior year is coming to a close.  time is going by too quickly these days.
